ABOUT US

Navy League Cadets are boys and girls between the ages of 9 to 12. Navy League Cadets come from many different backgrounds, but they all share a common interest.

 

Making Friends and Having Fun!

There are over three thousand Navy League Cadets in over a hundred towns and cities! The goals of our program are to develop good citizenship, patriotism, self-respect, discipline, teamwork, healthy living, and respect for others.

 

Navy League Cadets is designed to offer activities that are both fun and educational.

(Sail, Camping, Swiming, Music, Sports,Ceremonies, First-Aid, Water Safety, Trips)

Our Staff

Is this a military program?

No. The Navy League of Canada is a civilian organization. Our cadet program uses a Naval theme as a platform to develop patriotism, good citizenship, a sense of duty, self-discipline and respect for others.

 

How much does the program cost?

It's free but to make this possible, cadets are expected to participate in fundraising activities.

 

What are the membership requirements?

The program is open to all youth in Canada between the ages of 9 and 12.

Sudbury Navy League Branch 
 

The Navy League of Canada is a community-based, volunteer-led organisation dedicated to developing the resourcefulness, vitality and leadership of young Canadians through an appreciation of our great naval traditions.The Branch provides support for the Corps and is involved with fundraising, providing facilities and promoting the Corps activities. The Branch members usually meet monthly although some Branches meet more often. If you have skills (accounting, fundraising, public relations, etc.) you think might be useful to the Branch, please contact the Branch President.
